IMPORTANT!

See5 and Cubist are distributed under a licence agreement. By using See5, Cubist, or their documentation you indicate your willingness to be bound by this agreement.

Network Licence

See5 / Cubist should be installed on the Windows PC nominated in your licence. This PC will be called the server. Once the system is installed on the server, other PCs that appear in the server's network will be able to run the system. These PCs will be called clients.

Installation of See5 / Cubist under a network licence consists of two steps:

Let's start with the installation on the server.

Download and install See5 / Cubist

See5 and Cubist are distributed as Inno executables. Please download the system file by clicking the appropriate link: Save a backup copy of this file! You may need it if the licence is transferred to another computer in the future.

Double-click on the file to commence the installation. You will be prompted to accept the licence agreement, then a See5 / Cubist folder will be created in the server's Program Files or Program Files (x86) folder (depending on whether the server is running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows). This See5 / Cubist folder will be referred to as the home folder.

What's in the home folder?

The home folder contains the following files of interest:

See5.exe / Cubist.exe the main executable file (32-bit)
See5x64.exe / Cubistx64.exe the main executable file (64-bit)
See5X.exe / CubistX.exe the batch version of the executable (32-bit)
See5x64X.exe / Cubistx64X.exe the batch version of the executable (64-bit)
Install.exe and Install64.exe the executables for registering a new client (32-bit and 64-bit)
lock.dat a file used to monitor the number of concurrent clients
licence.dat a licence file
