Software Licensing
From July 2012, RuleQuest will sell single-computer and network licences only to people or organizations that have previously purchased our software. We have reluctantly taken this step to ensure that we can continue to provide proper support to our current customers. (OEM and other source licences will still be available.)
Licensees who wish to purchase software or upgrades should contact rulequest@rulequest.com for prices and the ordering procedure.
Everyone can still obtain access to our tools through other sources. For example:
- C5.0 is included in some other commercial packages, e.g. IBM SPSS Modeler.
- C5.0 and Cubist have been ported to common open-source data mining tools such as R.
- Source code for single-threaded Linux versions of all our software is available under the GNU General Public License. Please see the downloads page.
